Thanksgiving is closing in on us, and I’m trying desperately to finish up my work and freelance projects before my vacation starts on Tuesday (six days off!). It’s been a very intense writing month with three freelance pieces (1 blog post and 2 articles for a content library; I still have to one to finalize); a guest post for Fit4Mom and a guest post for Kidlist.

At my “real job,” I’m deep into writing profiles about service projects that will be posted throughout the holiday season, and I was unexpectedly thrown into the roll of copywriter for marketing materials last minute (“other duties as assigned”).
In addition, I decided to take the plunge with submitting a few items to other websites for publication–something that I promised myself I’d wait to do until 2015. But the Internet has a way of making it seem like everything “will just take a couple minutes.” Only when you add up all those everythings you’ve sunk half your day.
So, taking on the National Blog Posting Month challenge was mayyyyybe a bit much, but I’ve had so much fun posting as well as being a pseudo editor and finding other bloggers who took on the challenge. Anyway, I’m acting like it’s the end of the road here and it’s not.
That said, if you’re in the Chicagoland area (or planning to travel here), check out my guest post at Kidlist about our family’s visit to Kohl Children’s Museum in Glenview.
